- Preparing plans and policies for the use of computers in the Council's activities and following up on their implementation.
- Programming, archiving and retrieving the data and information necessary for the activities of the Council.
- Periodic evaluation of the performance of applied information systems and their development.
- Providing and maintaining the hardware, software and electronic networks necessary for the council's automated work systems, in coordination with the relevant administrative units.
- Design, operate and manage databases and information of all kinds.
- Providing the necessary technical support to the Council's electronic users and training them in using systems, programs, computers and their accessories.
- Establishing, following up and updating the council’s website on the international information network.
- Implementing an advanced security system for both the internal network and the Internet to provide the necessary protection from security breaches.
