Following the council of ministers Resolution No. (34) for the year 2001, the committee is concerned with organizing, coordinating, and following-up actions between the council, other ministries, and government agencies, public authorities and institutions, and in particular the following:
The Coordination and Follow-up Committee set forth in Article (11) of Law No. (12) for the year 1998 referred to is formed, as follows:
Each body selects its representative as a member of the committee, and a decision is issued by the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and members of the committee nominated by the Minister of Municipal and Environment
The Secretary-General of the Central Municipal Council shall be the decision of the committee.
