Mr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Muhannadi won “Chairman of the Committee”, and Mr. Ali bin Fahd Al-Shahwani, “Vice-Chairman”.

According to the text of Article (18) of the internal regulations of the Council
The Public Services and Facilities Committee is responsible for:
1.
Searching in the planning, programmatic, economic and social aspects of municipal affairs and agriculture and requesting any data, studies or reports related to the ministry’s departments and municipalities and their proposals, for their consideration and expressing an opinion on them.
2. Propose the establishment of public parks and follow up their maintenance.
3. Supervising the public transport of passengers.
4.
Suggest the names of cities, villages, neighborhoods, squares, streets, markets, parks and parks.
5. Study effective means to combat begging, manage the nursing homes, help the poor, and provide relief and prevention to the victims of fires and natural disasters.
6. Study and research the conditions necessary to house animals in inhabited dwellings, as well as neglected animals.

Other matters referred to it by the Council or the President.

The Complaints and Petitions Committee of the Central Municipal Council held its first meeting during the sixth session, in the presence of the members of the committee, member Muhammad bin Hamad Al-Atan, deputy chairman of the municipal council, member Ali bin Sultan Al-Ghanem, member Abdullah bin Saeed Al-Sulaiti, member Jabr bin Muhammad Al-Suwaidi, member Nayef Ben Ali Al-Ahbabi.
Mr. Muhammad bin Hamad Al-Attan won as “Chairman of the Committee”, and Mr. Ali bin Sultan Al-Ghanim, as “Vice-President”.

      According to the text of Article (19) of the Council's Bylaws
The complaints and petitions committee shall have the following competencies:

1. Consider complaints and petitions received by the citizens from the council and related to the functions of the council.

2. Respond to complaints and inquiries related to municipal and agricultural affairs.

3.
Other matters referred to it by the Council or the President.

The Finance Committee of the Central Municipal Council held its first meeting during the sixth session, in the presence of the members of the committee Member Mishaal bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, member Abdullah bin Muqallad Al-Muraikhi, Mrs. Sheikha bint Yusuf Al-Jufairi, Mrs. Fatima bint Ahmed Al-Kuwari, member Muhammad bin Saleh Al-Khayareen, member behind Bin Ibrahim Al-Kaabi, member Ali bin Mohammed Al-Muhannadi.
Mr. Mishaal bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi was elected as “Chairman of the Committee”, and Mr. Abdullah bin Makled Al-Muraikhi was elected as “Vice President”.

According to the text of Article (20) of the Council's internal regulations
The Financial Affairs Committee shall have the following competencies:

1. Discuss and study the annual council budget draft and its final account.
2. Study proposals for imposing local taxes and fees.
3. Study ways to improve the Ministry's revenue collection processes.
4. Study the financial aspects of the council referred to it by the council or the ministry.
5. Research and study the issuance of local orders to impose fees on some services and matters that are not covered by the regulation in force.
6. Other matters referred to it by the Council or the President.

Mrs. Sheikha bint Yusuf Al-Jufairi won, “Chairman of the Committee”, and Mr. Rashid bin Mubarak Al-Kaabi, “Vice-President.”

According to the text of Article (21) of the Council's Bylaws
The Legal Committee is concerned with the following:
1. Study the recommendations related to the proposal of legislative tools projects related to municipal affairs and present recommendations regarding their issuance.

2.Examine the legal aspects of the issues that fall within the jurisdiction of the Council.

3. Study requests for general discussions, proposals, or desires referred to it by the Council to express a legal opinion thereon.

4. Other matters referred to it by the council or the president.

Election of the council bureau members
The council office consists of the president, his deputy, and five members who are elected from among the members. He assists the president in the following tasks:

1- Examining the suggestions and requests submitted by members, citizens complaints and grievances before submitting them to the council.

2- Deciding on objections related to the minutes of the sessions.

3-Consider the annual draft general budget of the council and the draft of its final account after preparing them from the General Secretariat and before submitting them to the council for approval.

The Secretary General shall edit the minutes of the bureau's meetings, and approve it with the members present.

Important notes that must be taken into account when participating in the membership of the committees: -

According to the provisions of Articles (13) - (14) - (24) of the internal regulations of the Central Municipal Council
1 - Each committee consists of at least five members, and the members of the committees are enrolled according to their choice.
2 - Each member must participate in the membership of one of the committees.
3 - A member may not participate in more than two committees.
4- The first meeting of the committee is chaired by the oldest members.
5 - Each committee selects its chairman and vice president from among its members at its first meeting.
6 -Each committee shall prepare a report containing a full statement of the subject referred to it, including the following: -
- The committee's opinion on it on the subject and the reasons on which it based its opinion.
Minority opinion, if requested.
- The report may not include inappropriate language or a violation of the dignity of persons or that harms the higher interests of the country.
7 - The committee shall have a secretary and an assistant secretary from the General Secretariat employees in the council.

2 - Not to be absent from more than three consecutive meetings or six separate meetings in one session (that is, the period between the first of September until June of the following year)
