His Excellency Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaiei, Minister of Municipality and Environment, opened the works of the sixth session of the Central Municipal Council on 7-7-21019.
In his speech before the first session of the new session, the Minister congratulated the council members on winning its membership, stressing the need to move forward in developing the work of this council in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, may God protect him and his patron, and follow-up to His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to spread the culture of participation

His Excellency the Minister stressed during the opening session, in which His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Hamoud Shafi Al Shafi was elected President of the Municipal Council, and Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Atan as Vice President of the Municipal Council, that his ministry is keen to do the support of the Municipal Council and more cooperation and coordination, and to discuss all the challenges that Face it and work to find solutions to it.
