His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Hamoud Shafi Al Shafi, Chairman of the Central Municipal Council, received Mr. Ghanem Mubarak Ali Al-Kuwari, Assistant Undersecretary for Social Affairs, and Mr. Nasser Muhanna Al-Mannai, Director of the Citizens Housing Department, at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, at the headquarters of the Council.
The meeting discussed several issues of common concern, and ways to enhance relations between the Municipal Council and the Housing Department of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs.
His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Hamoud Shafi Al Shafi, Chairman of the Central Municipal Council, stressed that the council always seeks to cooperate and coordinate with all the authorities, bodies and ministries in the country, to implement the projects of the departments and achieve the requests and aspirations of citizens, in order to perform its duties to serve the country and the citizen.
At the end of the meeting, Al Shafi gave the Shield of the Municipal Council to the guests in honor of them and in appreciation of their important role in serving the country and the citizen.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Atan, Vice-President of the Central Municipal Council, and Mr. Mohammed bin Dhafer Al-Hajri, member of the Council, as well as from the General Secretariat of the Municipal Council, Mr. Jaber Hamad Al-Lakhan, Secretary-General.
